Reaching Bima from Jerowaru is a significant journey across the island of Sumbawa. The most practical land route involves taking a bus from Lombok to Sumbawa Besar, then continuing by bus to Bima, which can take over 15 hours. Alternatively, you can travel to Lombok International Airport (LOP) and take a direct flight to Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport (BMU) in Bima. The flight is the most efficient method, taking about 1 hour in the air. Bima is the easternmost major city in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.
Total Distance: 450 km by road, 300 km straight-line air distance.
