Bima is located on the eastern end of Sumbawa Island. To reach it from Nusa Dua, you can take a direct flight from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport (BMU) in Bima. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Bali to Sumbawa, which involves multiple ferry crossings and a long drive. Flying is highly recommended due to the significant time savings.
